Saturday’s Individual Open Stableford results were;

1st: Scott Rotherham - 38pts
2nd: Brian Leece - 34pts
3rd: Peter Taylor - 34pts

Tuesday’s club day, an 18 hole Stableford, was unfortunately cancelled.

The same was true for Sunday's Absolute Scaffolding winter league competition.

We hope to see these up and running next week.

Course news

Ongoing Course Work

To aid the drainage and health of the greens, there has been some hollow coring work taking place. We will be adding sand to seal up holes and help the drainage process.

Obviously this affects the surfaces for a short period of time, but is essential work to help us for the coming season.

Please allow the greens keepers as much courtesy as possible to continue the work. Thank you.

Layer up

Last week we talked about one of our favourite topics: rain! Whilst waterproof protection is key for staying dry when caught in a downpour, combining layers of clothing underneath is vital if you want to enjoy the warmth without being so restricted that you can’t complete your backswing.

What do we mean by layering?

Lots of golfers are still in the habit of putting on as many layers as they possibly can in the winter to combat the cold – a vest, turtleneck, polo, sweater and jacket – but today’s golf clothing could easily cut that down by half.

What do we suggest?
